As an Emergency First Response (EFR) Instructor, you play a crucial role in teaching individuals the essential skills of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) through the Emergency First Response Course. This qualification extends to anyone interested in Primary and Secondary Care, including your rescue and/or divemaster diving students.
The EFR Instructor course equips you with the necessary training to teach various modules. These are Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR), Secondary Care (First Aid), CPR & AED, and Care for Children Courses. It is designed to enhance your instructional capabilities. Like building upon your existing skills as a primary and secondary care provider.
Through a combination of independent study, classroom sessions, and practice teaching assignments, instructor candidates are guided in conducting the EFR program effectively. Successful completion of this course is a prerequisite for applying for the PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certification.
Our EFR Instructor course is seamlessly integrated into the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC). This is allowing you to fulfill this requirement immediately after passing the Instructor Examination. Over the course of two days, you will delve into internationally recognized teaching guidelines for this program. You will discover methods to make learning engaging and enjoyable.
Moreover, you’ll gain insights into effectively promoting the course to both divers and non-divers alike. By acquiring these skills, you’ll not only become a certified EFR Instructor. But also enhance your ability to impart life-saving knowledge in a manner that is accessible and engaging to all participants.
